UPDATE: Missing Elmhurst Woman, 21, Found

(CBS) – A missing DePaul University student from west suburban Elmhurst has been found, CBS 2 has learned.

Police said Angelika Rosada, 21, was possibly in danger after she left an incoherent voicemail on her mother's voicemail Thursday. Then she disappeared.

"She sounded confused. She was saying words, but it just didn't make sense," Renata Rosada tells CBS 2's Dana Kozlov.

Angelika Rosada lives in Elmhurst but attends DePaul University. Her parents say she used a stranger's cell phone near Halsted and Irving Park Road to make the call. Later, another person found Rosada's purse and coat on this bench.

Deputy Chief Michael McLean Says Elmhurst officers canvassed the area, finding witnesses who remembered seeing the woman and noticing her behaving erratically.

Late Friday, Elmhurst police reported Rosada had been found, alive. She is being evaluated at a Chicago hospital, they said.
