(CBS) The White Sox have acquired 23-year-old right-hander Ryan Burr from the Diamondbacks in exchange for international signing bonus pool money, they announced Friday afternoon.

Burr is 2-2 with a 1.89 ERA with 75 strikeouts in 57 innings across two levels of Class-A this season. He has a career 1.97 ERA in 81 appearances across three seasons in the minor leagues.

An Arizona State product, Burr was a fifth-round selection of the Diamondbacks in 2015.
