Cubs' Anthony Rizzo Named National League Player Of The Week

(CBS) Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo has been named the National League player of the week, the league announced Monday.

Rizzo went 12-of-28 with two homers, 13 RBIs, five runs and two walks in seven games. His on-base percentage was .484, and he had a .750 slugging percentage.

Rizzo leads the Cubs with 28 homers and 84 RBIs. He's hitting .268 with a .900 OPS.
