Toys For Needy Children Collected In Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A local group is getting into the holiday spirit by collecting much needed gifts for children.

Thousands of dollars in gifts were donated at the 100 Black Men of Chicago toy drive.

The mentoring organization hosted its annual toy drive at the Alhambra Palace Restaurant on the Near West Side.

Guests brought gifts that will be distributed to nearly 20 Chicago-area organizations benefiting women and children in need.
