Blackhawks Assign Ville Pokka To AHL Rockford

(670 The Score) The Blackhawks have assigned defenseman Ville Pokka to AHL Rockford, they announced Monday.

Pokka was promoted by Chicago last week but didn't appear in a game for the Blackhawks. Pokka, 23, has 12 points (three goals, nine assists) in 26 games at Rockford this season. Taken in the second round of the 2012 draft, he has yet to appear in an NHL game.

Chicago next plays at Dallas on Thursday.
