Girl, 13, Shot In Leg

(CBS) -- A 13-year-old girl was wounded Monday evening in a South Side shooting in the West Englewood neighborhood.

The teenager was shot in the thigh at 7:54 p.m. in the 7400 block of South Ashland, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where her condition stabilized, police said.
