CHICAGO (CBS) — A fire tore through an auto storage facility in Gary.

It happened around 8:00 Saturday morning.

Firefighters put out the flames quickly but the blaze smoldered for another three hours.

A person inside made it out safely.

Two firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

They were treated and released.
