Police Warn Of Armed Robberies On Northwest Side

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago police are warning people to be on guard after a string of armed robberies on the Northwest Side.

At least three robberies have been reported in the past week in Jefferson Park and nearby Portage Park.

In each case, a group of men either flashed a handgun or threatened their victims with a baseball bat.

No one was hurt.
