Several Chicago Police Cars Vandalized On East Wacker Drive
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Several Chicago police cars were vandalized while officers were attending an awards ceremony at the Hyatt Regency downtown.
Video showed at least six damaged unmarked police cars, several with smashed windshields, in the 100 block of East Wacker Drive.
Police say they have a man in custody.
CPD was holding its 57th Annual Police Recognition Ceremony at the Hyatt at the time.
