Infant Shot In Head Inside Gary, Indiana Home
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A female infant was shot in the head in Gary, Indiana Tuesday night, according to Gary Police.
The incident happened in the 1700 block of Polk Street around 6:50 p.m.
The two-year-old child was transported to Methodist Northlake Campus and later flown to Comer Hospital.
Police say two adults, one male and one female, were taken in for questioning.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time.
A homicide and violent crime unit are on the scene investigating. No arrests have been made at this time.
