CHICAGO (CBS)—A fire broke out on Chicago’s South Side on Monday.

Two people were rescued from the blaze in a residential building on 71st Street and Vincennes Avenue.

Firefighters broke out windows of the home to rescue the occupants.

Their condition is unknown.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
