DUBOIS, Idaho (AP) — Idaho State Police say a traffic stop in eastern Idaho led to the discovery of 800 pounds of marijuana worth more than $3 million.
Police in a news release on Friday say 37-year-old Jonathan D. Speckman of Hainesville, Illinois, was taken into custody on Dec. 15 on suspicion of trafficking marijuana.READ MORE: 3 Killed In Black Powder Explosion At Starved Rock State Park
Police say Speckman was pulled over for a traffic violation on Interstate 15 near Dubois. A Clark County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman says Speckman was being held on Saturday in the Clark County Jail with a bond of $100,000.
