Electrical Workers Escape Jefferson Park Roof Collapse

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two men who were doing electrical work inside a Jefferson Park building escaped just in time before the roof collapsed Tuesday afternoon.

Only part of the roof of the building in the 5000 block of W. Lawrence Ave. collapsed, leaving bricks and boards all over the sidewalk.

Fire crews said the building will now have to be demolished.
