Ten People Sent To Hospital After Accident Involving CTA Bus On South Side

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A total of 10 passengers were injured in an accident involving a CTA bus on the South Side Saturday.

Around 11:30 a.m., a gray four-door sedan struck at CTA bus at 83rd Street and Cottage Grove, causing minor damage. A total of 10 passengers reported injuries, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

An EMS plan 1, which includes five ambulances, was called to the scene.

Five people were taken to St. Bernard Hospital.

Five were taken to Jackson Park Hospital.

Nine people refused treatment

None of the injuries was serious, the Fire Department said.
