South Shore Train Hits SUV At Portage/Ogden Dunes Station
(CBS) -- Train service on the South Shore Line in Northwest Indiana was disrupted after a train and SUV collided in Portage.
Train 112 hit the SUV and was stopped at Portage/Ogden Dunes station around 7:30 a.m.
Train 114 was holding at Dune Park, according to a message from the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District.
NICTD estimated that all service would return sometime around 8:30 a.m.
