Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Andersonville

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A pedestrian is in critical condition after she was struck by a vehicle Saturday morning.

According to police, the female pedestrian was struck in the 5300 block of north Ashland Avenue.

The victim was transported to a Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition.

A witness said the driver involved stayed on the scene.

Police have traffic blocked southbound on Ashland Avenue.
