CHICAGO (CBS) — Thirteen people were hurt in a crash early Sunday morning along the Kennedy Expressway at Harlem Avenue.

According to officials the crash involved a semi-truck and five vehicles.

The crash sent nine people to local hospitals in conditions ranging from serious to critical, according to Illinois State Police. Four others refused medical services.

The victims range in age from 23 to 66 years old.

Illinois State Police reopened all lanes around 7:15 a.m. Sunday.
