Man Critically Injured In Crash After Driving Off Lake Shore Drive
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A driver veered off Lake Shore Drive near Diversey Harbor and ended up crashing into a tree Monday morning.
Police said the man was driving north on the 2700 block of Lake Shore Drive when he went over an embankment.
The car rolled down the embankment, and crashed into a tree along the fence at the entrance to Diversey Harbor.
The driver was pinned inside, and after he was freed from the vehicle, he was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition.
