Chicago Weather: Hottest Temperatures Of The Year To Arrive
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Chicago-area temperatures this week are expected to be the hottest of the year so far.
According to CBS 2 meteorologist Robb Ellis, temperatures will move into the mid 90s.
Scattered thunderstorms and showers are possible on Sunday, but mainly for southern areas. There is a higher chance for rain on Tuesday.
Ellis said heat and humidity will stick around for most of the 7-day forecast.
Thursday is expected to be the hottest of the week, with a high temperature around 95, and a heat index above 100.
