Cousins Killed In Fire During Sleepover At Grandparents' Home In Dyer

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A fire claimed the lives of two young cousins, having a sleepover at their grandmother's house in northwest Indiana.

Twelve-year-old Leaira Rogers died Sunday night in the basement of the home.

Her 14-year-old cousin Jasmine Levi was taken to a burn unit in Chicago, but did not survive.

The girls' grandmother was also critically injured in the fire. She is still in the hospital but is improving.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
