CHICAGO (CBS)-- Wednesday is rainy with temperatures in the 60s. Thunderstorms are expected to increase after midnight.

Heavy rains could lead to 1 to 2 inches of rain, especially in southern areas.

Showers could continue Thursday morning and clouds are expected to linger throughout the day.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the upper 50s. Scattered showers will return on Saturday.
