CHICAGO (CBS) — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run Saturday night in East Garfield Park, police say.

The 51-year-old male was struck in the 3200 block of West Madison around 5:20 p.m. by a vehicle traveling eastbound, according to police.

The unknown vehicle continued driving.

The pedestrian was taken to Norwegian American Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
