Search Continues For 3 Assailants Who Attacked Man, Stole His iPhone On Red Line Downtown

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police Tuesday night were looking for three men they say attacked and robbed another man on the Red Line downtown.

Around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday, the 27-year-old victim was headed south on the Red Line at the State/Lake subway stop, when the three assailants began beating him and took his iPhone, police said.

The suspects ran off.

Police said the victim suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

Area Central detectives were investigating Tuesday night.
