Boy, 17, Shot And Killed In Auburn Gresham
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in broad daylight Sunday in the Auburn Gresham community.
The boy was standing on the sidewalk at 11:38 a.m. when a man came up and fired multiple shots, police said.
The victim was struck multiple times and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The suspect fled the scene and was not in custody Sunday afternoon.
Area South detectives were investigating.
