Smash And Grab Burglars Break Into Zumiez In The Loop, Steal Jewelry
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Burglars smashed their way into a Zumiez skate shop in the Loop late Monday night, stealing jewelry from a display case.
Police said officers responded to an alarm at the Zumiez at 2 S. State St. around 10 p.m., and discovered the front glass door had been shattered with a rock.
Several pieces of jewelry had been stolen from a display case.
No one was in custody Tuesday morning.
Area Central detectives were investigating.
