Girl, 16, Fatally Shot In Head While Standing In Vacant Lot In Englewood

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 16-year-old girl died Friday night after being shot in Englewood.

It happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. near Marquette and Parnell.

Police say the teen was standing in a vacant lot when three men in a silver sedan pulled up next to her.

That's when one of the men pulled out a gun and began firing.

The  girl was hit in the head, neck and back and  was rushed to comer children's hospital.

No arrests have been made
