Walgreens Worker Stops Shoplifters In Avondale
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Walgreens worker is recovering after he was stabbed trying to stop a pair of shoplifters.
A police investigation took place at the store located at Belmont and Kimball Monday night.
The two men tried to walk out with the beer they didn't pay for. That's when the employee confronted the two men.
One of them stabbed the employee in the hand. The men dropped the beer and ran out of the store.
CBS 2 was told the employee is going to be OK.
