Fire Rips Through House In Round Lake
ROUND LAKE, Ill. (CBS) -- A fire broke out late Tuesday at a house in Round Lake.
Firefighters rushed to the home at 35477 Fairfield Rd. in Round Lake, near West Lake Shore Drive, after reports of a smell of smoke.
They found the house in flames, and fire shooting out of the roof.
Firefighters searched the home, but no one was there.
Firefighters were expected to remain on the scene late into the night Monday.
