GOODYEAR, Ariz. (CBS) -- The White Sox' Cactus League opener was rained out on Saturday, so their Spring Training debut came Sunday against the Cincinnati Reds.
Pitcher Dylan Cease could be in for a big year. He struck out three Reds in two scoreless innings.
Leury Garcia was is the battle for second base. Against the Reds, his RBI single sent James McCann to home plate – breaking a scoreless tie in the fifth inning.
The Sox pulled away for a 7-2 win.
