White Sox Eke Out Victory Over Joe Maddon's L.A. Angels In Arizona
TEMPE, Ariz. (CBS) -- The White Sox took on Joe Maddon and the Los Angeles Angels during Cactus League Play in Tempe, Arizona on Sunday.
The Sox fell behind 6-0, but responded with an eighth-run fourth inning.
Nick Madrigal, who is trying to earn a roster spot, had an RBI single to tie the game at 6.
Afterward, outfielder Nomar Mazara had another RBI single to cap the big inning. The Sox went on to beat the Angels 8-7.
