Light Pole Removed After Falling Onto Car In Albany Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Workers on Thursday night removed a large street light pole that came crashing down on a car.
The pole appeared to have snapped right off the base on Kimball Avenue at Lawrence Avenue, directly across the street from the Kimball Brown Line train terminal.
The light pole ended up leaning on that car parked along Kimball Avenue.
Rust was visible at the base of the pole.
CBS 2 has made a request to the City of Chicago for more information.
