79-Year-Old Shot In Alley In Austin Neighborhood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 79-year-old man was shot Saturday afternoon in Chicago's Austin neighorhood, police said.
Around 1:20 p.m. in the 5600 block of West Division Street multiple people approached the man and fired shots. He was struck in the arm and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
It's not clear who the intended target was, but it does not appear to be the 79-year-old.
No one is in custody. Area North detectives are investigating.
