Rush Copley Medical Center In Aurora Placed On Lockdown Due To Shots Fired Nearby

AURORA, Ill. (CBS) -- Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora went on lockdown Sunday evening due to reports of a shooting nearby.

The shots were not fired at the hospital at 2000 Ogden Ave. in Aurora, but the hospital went into lockdown as a precautionary measure, Aurora police said on Twitter.

No one was injured, police said.

Officers were at the scene investigating, police said.
