Woman Dead After Being Shot In Back Of Head In South Shore
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A woman is dead after a shooting in the South Shore neighborhood Sunday afternoon.
The shooting happened at 4:23 p.m. Sunday in the 7500 block of South Blackstone Avenue, police said.
Someone in a dark-colored four-door vehicle began firing shots toward a Ford, police said. A 20-year-old woman in the Ford was shot once in the back of the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
As of Sunday night, no one was in custody and Area South detectives were investigating.
