Uber Riders, Drivers Required To Wear Masks

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Starting Monday, Uber drivers and riders are required to wear masks.

Driver need to take selfies in the app to verify that they are wearing masks or face coverings before picking up passengers. Riders need to confirm they are wearing a mask, but do not need to take a selfie.

Drivers now also have to confirm they do not have any symptoms, sanitize their vehicle regularly and wash their hands.
