Project H.O.O.D. Distributes Relief Packages To Families
CHICAGO (CBS) -- On Chicago's South Side families got boxes and bags of food, masks, hand sanitizers and more Sunday morning.
Project H.O.O.D. and New Beginnings Church hosted the giveaway at 66th and King Drive.
The packages also included fresh fruit, meat, vegetables, canned foods and lotion.
New Beginnings Pastor Corey Brooks said there were thousands of boxes, and the job wouldn't be done until each and every one made it to a neighbor in need.
