2 People Pull Driver From Burning Car After Hit-And-Run Crash

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Chicago police on Monday were searching for the driver in a hit-and-run crash that left a woman in a burning car in the Chatham community.

A driver wanted by police slammed into a car, causing it to strike a pole and catch fire at 87th Street near Rhodes Avenue around 2 a.m. Monday.

Two people on the scene were able to get the 22-year-old woman out of the car.

After being rushed to the hospital, the 22-year-old is in good condition.
