CHICAGO (CBS)– A man was shot while driving on the Bishop Food Freeway Tuesday morning. Police are searching for the shooter.

According to police, one shell casing was found.

Illinois State Police said a man said he was injured in a shooting at 138th Street. He was taken to a local hospital in good condition.

“Preliminary reports indicate the shots were fired from an unknown vehicle on Interstate 94 southbound at 138th Street (Steel Bridge),” Illinois State Police stated in a press release.

All lanes have reopened.
