Chicago Weather: Long Stretch Of Hot, Sunny Weather Ahead

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Get used to the hot, sunny weather, because our current weather pattern doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon.

Heading into the July 4th weekend, Chicago can expect clear skies for days, with mostly sunny skies through the next week.

Highs will reach near 90 throughout the 7-day forecast, with lows near 70 at night.

There will only be isolated chances for rain over the next week, with Tuesday seeing a few pop-up showers.
