Man Shot Dead In West Garfield Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man is dead after being shot in the West Garfield Park neighborhood Monday evening.
The 23-year-old man was in an alley behind the 400 block of South Kilpatrick Avenue when he was approached by a vehicle.
Someone inside shot him in the chest, and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one was in custody Monday night. Area Four detectives were investigating.
