New Age-Progression Photo Of Sarah Avon Who Disappeared In 1981

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Will County Sheriff's Office is releasing a new age progression photo of a girl who went missing in Joliet 39 years ago.

Sarah Avon was just six years old when she disappeared from in front of her home in 1981.

A new photo was released showing what she may look like now. Investigators named a person of interest in the case, William Redden. He was a cousin of Sarah's father, but died ten years ago.

The sheriff searched his former home last year but found nothing.
