15-Year-Old Shot In Chicago's West Lawn Neighborhood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago police are investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old who was riding his skateboard on the city's southwest side.
According to authorities, the teen was riding his skateboard in the 6500 block of South Hamlin in Chicago's West Lawn neighborhood when he asked a witness if he had indeed been shot. That witness confirmed to the teen that he had been shot in the back.
The victim was taken to Christ Hospital in serious condition.
