Care For Real Food Pantry To Begin Senior Hours
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A food pantry on Chicago's North Side wants to keep seniors cool while they pick up food. Care for Real in Edgewater is reserving its first hour of its food distribution days for anyone over 60 years old.
The special hour will let seniors receive food in an air conditioned area instead of waiting outside in the heat.
More than 1,000 seniors visit the pantry each month.
Seniro hours run from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
