CHICAGO (CBS) — August 2020 has wound up being the sixth warmest and sixth driest on record.
We are way behind in the rainfall department.
A system coming Monday night will bring passing showers or a rumble of thunder through the night and on Tuesday, but rain amounts are not that impressive.
The low for Monday night is 65, while the high for Tuesday is 79.
The high for Wednesday is 86, with mostly sunny conditions.
Even though we clear out and warm up Wednesday and Thursday, the 6-10 day outlook from the Climate Prediction Center has our region showing a strong signal for below-average temperature trends through much of next week.
