Lincolnshire Cancels Boo Bash, All Special Events For Remainder Of The Year Due To COVID-19 Concerns
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Halloween is more than eight weeks away, but already Boo Bash, a popular event in the northern suburbs, has been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.
Lincolnshire says it has canceled Boo Bash and all other special events for the remainder of the year, including the village's holiday tree lighting ceremony.
The village is worried big gatherings will make it hard for people to follow social distancing rules.
