Chicago Archdiocese Ordains 27 New Deacons
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Twenty-seven new deacons now begin their service to the faithful in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Cardinal Blase Cupich and Bishop Robert Casey presided over the ceremonies Saturday at St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel.
All of the celebrants and guests abided by social distancing rules and wore masks.
