Woman Fatally Stabbed, Shot Inside House Near Norwood Park
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A woman was fatally stabbed and shot inside a house near Norwood Park early Tuesday morning.
According to Chicago police, the 41-year-old woman was found, in the 5100 block of North Newland around 12:30 a.m., with multiple stab wounds and a gunshot wound to the mouth.
She was taken to Lutheran General Hospital in critical condition where she was pronounced dead.
Police said a person of interest is being questioned. Two knives and a gun were recovered from the house.
