Woman In Critical Condition After Driver Flees Crash Scene
CHCIAGO (CBS) -- A woman is in critical condition after she was abandoned by the driver of a car she was riding in during a crash in Chicago's West Town neighborhood.
The 23-year-old was riding in an Audi sedan in the 2100 block of West Grand Avenue at 2:30 a.m. Sunday when the driver of the Audi crashed into a parked vehicle, police said. She was taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County.
The driver fled the scene on foot. It is not known if the driver is a man or a woman.
No driver could be found for the second vehicle involved.
