CHICAGO (CBS)– Record-breaking high temperatures continue, but a cool down is on the way, with a marginal, or slight, risk of strong storms on Tuesday.

Monday and Tuesday’s temperatures will be in the 70s.

The chance for storms comes in the afternoon and evening on Tuesday.

By Wednesday, temperatures are expected to drop to the 50s for the rest of the week.
