CHICAGO (CBS)-- It's going to be a chilly day, but a slow warmup is approaching.

Tuesday's temperatures will be near 33 degrees with mostly cloudy skies.

There's a slight chance for snow showers on Wednesday.

As the weekend approaches, temperatures will slowly climb to the 40s.
